Funding

The research of the FINEXUS Center has been funded by several research grants from the EU Commission (over 3M Euros) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (over 1.5M CHF). In order to pursue our pioneering research program, we are currently seeking to secure funding and donations from private individuals, foundations, and companies.

Why fund FINEXUS?

Many Swiss and international donors pursue the objective to preserve our natural environment and to strengthen the social cohesion. In the coming decade, these objectives face interconnected challenges: climate change, scarcity of natural resources, ageing population, increasing private and public debt. These challenges are already setting the stage for a new period of global financial instability and pose risks to the very fabric of society both at the level of states and local communities.

The research we carry out at FINEXUS provides actionable information on how these challenges affect financial institutions and investors. In addition, our research contributes towards identification and evaluation of projects not only from the risk perspective but also as opportunities.

To deliver impact we follow a simple strategy: strive for top level scientific publications, offer excellent graduate and executive education and engage with market players and key stakeholders in sustainability.
